Contrary to popular belief, Daddy-Long-Legs are not the most poisonous spider on the face of the earth. They are venomous, but do not have enough to kill a human. Eating a Daddy-Long-Legged spider will not hurt you. But if you milk the venom out of a spider and inject enough into the blood stream, it can be particularily hazardous.
Uh... I may only be an entomologist, but that's not a picture of a spider... That's a harvestman. It's an arachnid (like spiders, ticks, and crabs) but it's not a spider and it doesn't have venom.

DeleteMythbusters showed that their fangs are long enough to inject venom, but the bite is very mild. There's no science literature to show any testing has been done on mammals, let alone people, but the their venom has a weak effect on insects compared to many other spider species. I thought the previous poster might've have pointed out something like that but hey, they're only an entomologist.
